In The Trap with CAMRON

There’s been a lot of craziness happening this week with some of Hip-Hop’s icons. Last Monday 2nd June, ⅓ of the infamous New York group, The Diplomats, Killa Cam aka Cam’Ron touched down in London for a one-off show at Kentish Town’s The Forum. Unfortunately, to many fans’ disappointment, the gig did not take place due to past disputes, however I managed to grab a quick chat with the Harlem rapper.

In keeping with the talk of NYC (courtesy of Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex), Roc-A-Fella’s Dame Dash certainly appeared in the conversation. He may not be the most glorified person in Hip-Hop right now, but one person whose loyalty remains firmly unchanged is Cam

“Dame’s my brother, and however he feels I always got his back… if you ask me about Dame Dash against anybody, I’m always gonna have Dame’s back, regardless on who it is”.

When asked about his previous shots at Jay-Z regarding the ripping of Notorious BIG’s lyrics, Cam responded, “I don’t pick people to go at for no reason… me and Jay-Z was on the same label with Dame Dash and I was feeling that he had a little attitude for no reason. Anybody I have a problem with, it stemmed from something before”.

We have new music (Federal Reserve EP) and merchandise (mink line) to look forward to. But what about an official Dipset re-union? Listen to the full interview below to find out.
