Tyla Yaweh went from chasing “The American Dream” to living “The World Dream”
Growing up in a family well integrated in the church really resonated with Florida artist Tyla Yaweh, who changed his sacred influenced name since age 14. finding a parallel in the higher frequency that is God with the music he aspires to create.
Contrary to his “rockstar” image or lifestyle, his creative process is also very sacred, working hard to maintain very few people around in the studio. In The Trap, Tyla talks about his conflicts with “rockstardom” in going through bi-polar emotions being somewhere different everyday, despite him leaving Florida in pursuit of that very opportunity in Los Angeles; “La-la Land”, where dreams come true! Speaking of which, we look at redefining “the American Dream” into “the World Dream”, realising there is success outside America in different markets, with his album Heart Full Of Rage performing outstandingly globally.
Tyla Yaweh shouts out PnB Rock for being one of the most versatile and interesting Artists to collaborate with, the multi-platinum Ayo The Producer as one of the people in music back in Florida supporting him early on, as well as Post Malone and his team for giving him the necessary training ground of touring with the superstar.
